A Letter From the President

Fellow Jaguar Enthusiasts,

With the new change in officers this year, it was suggested that I send out a letter from the President which I am now belatedly doing.

My love affair of Jaguars started back in 1968 when my best friend and running buddy purchased a black OTS 66 E-type. From the first ride, I was hooked and 20 years later I had the opportunity to purchase my 68 E-type OTS basically sight unseen.

In the last ten years or so since I joined the club we have gone through quite a bit of changes and have grown and subsided quite a bit because of the whole Covid situation. Our past consists of the regular meetings to Concours to Rallies and Slaloms as well as a few road trips.

Since The two year Covid break our activities have been reduced to an occasional luncheon and one very well run car show in Ponte Vedra. I am hoping that now that life is beginning to return to the new normal, so to speak, we can begin to be involved in more activities. I had found myself easily falling into the trap of staying complacent after all of the inactivity we went through. I am sure I am not alone with that issue but it’s time to wake up and smell some petrol:-)

I would like to urge anyone and everyone in the club to give some thought and effort into “Let’s make some things happen.”

One of the pitfalls we encountered this year was our inability to communicate directly along with the website basically inoperable. Thanks to Sandra Terra for her efforts we are very much closer to having the website a friendly and fun place to visit. Please send any Jaguar related photos or comments to Sandra ( or ).

I would also like to thank Harold Kelly and his fine group of folks who helped make our first car show a great success at Ponte Vedra. Hopefully we will build on this in the future.

Craig Kerins has started a newsletter which I hope everyone is now getting and he would most definitely like to hear from people regarding any ideas or topics.

This year the Ponte Vedra show will be on November 13th. More details to follow soon.

Bottom line is the JCCNF will be as active or dormant as we all decide for it to be. Please feel free to contact me by phone, text or email regarding any Jaguar matters. My new email address is  and phone is 601-238-1920.
